Cable nws pundits are very silly people

The Republican party is finished.

Clearly obvious to every yakking pundit and columnist and declared daily for months on end. All the sgns are there. Going the way of the Whigs. Historic confluence of… Near total consensus. Levitating pundit panels of them on cable news. Not fake news – but no news at all. Just the tossing of predictions and assumptions into carbonated hope and apocalypse juice and blending them into soda pop with enough dramatic graphics and noise to sell premium ad space. A row of info-celebs guessing, with certainty, live for the camera hour after hour then re-broadcast all through the night, dominating the news cycle for two solid years. And here I am griping about this again and again then again for sure to be repeated through the night in my dreams

The Republican party is finished. Hold on… we have to pause for some REAKING NEWS:

Republicans win both houses of Congress, the White House and two thirds of the state houses.

The Democratic party is finished. Clearly obvious to every yakking pundit and columnist and declared daily for months on end.

Not fake news. Not news at all.
