I’m at a loss to figure out why the Clinton campaign and that of so many other Dem candidates find it not worth the trouble to reach out to conservative voters. It seems that the talking points and taglines of the right wing have become so transparently silly that they’re pretty easy to deflate. Those narratives have probably gotten that nutty because of laziness that comes from a lack of energized challenge.
Dems could be having fun popping holes in juvenile taglines that can’t stand up to any pushback if that pushback were delivered in a language the audience actually speaks.
Of course that requires knowing who those voters are and how they live. Most of all it requires caring enough about them to summon the energy to make the effort.
